Ajit Shirwalkar is the Head of MPKi Packaging Business Practice that is headquartered in Mumbai, India. 

As a packaging professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Ajit will lead the new specialist division to support our rapidly expanding international client base who have come to rely on MPKi to manage and support all aspects of their packaging global sourcing and footprint development initiatives in South and South-East Asia. Ajit will be instrumental in ensuring the new division will seamlessly work with our Global Sourcing group specifically on behalf of our packaging-related clients.

Prior to joining MPKi in 2023, Ajit has held a number of leadership roles in Asia-Pacific, supporting a range of companies from emerging, mid-sized and fast-growing companies to large public organizations who are engaged in the manufacturing and procurement of flexible packaging. He has spent two decades at Huhtamaki where he held various management positions including responsibility for prepress activities, including the cylinder management and color management process for all of their plants. It is this very specific technical and industry experience that enables MPKi to enhance our packaging service offering to current and future clients.
