Managing Partner and Head of Middle East and North Africa
Ede Byatt is the Head of the Middle East and North Africa region at MPK International. She has 20+ years of international experience with top telecoms and investment banking companies. She has assumed various leadership positions with significant budgetary and P&L responsibilities.
MPK International is Ede’s first foray into the world of International Consulting and Advisory Services, but her strong commercial business background—coupled with her experience as an investment banker—will provide MPK and its clients invaluable insight and support, and help to expand their interests in the MENA region.
Prior to joining MPK, Ede worked as an investment banker at JP Morgan MENA, as well as holding senior leadership roles within the telecom industry in North Africa, where she provided commercial and investment strategy support on behalf of Telecoms Egypt.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Cairo University. Ede is fluent in English, Arabic and French, and despite her modesty and argument to the contrary, she is pretty fluent in Italian, too.
Now based in Dubai, UAE, Ede is active in her local community, and serves on the board of directors of the PTIC—an Egyptian charity which holds that “every child deserves an education.”
