Reutter

Chief Operations Officer and Head of CIS Region

Herbert joins MPK International in the dual role of the firm’s Chief Operations Officer, as well as the person taking direct responsibility for MPKi’s business in the CIS countries and guiding us through MPKi’s overall strategic growth plan.

His background in corporate strategy, management consulting, and in-depth knowledge of establishing business relationships on behalf of clients in Russia and its bordering countries provides MPKi and its clients invaluable expertise in the region.

“We are a new and dynamic company, challenging what we perceive as the ‘norm’ in both perception, and the advice being dished out by large consulting firms to all companies regardless of their size. We believe one size does NOT fit all, especially in terms of cookie-cutter solutions for our clients.”

“We have a great global team, very-strong partnerships, and our confidence is high. We will be developing great talent from all sources worldwide and our individual leadership team’s global network is deep and supportive,” Herbert notes.

“We will be taking bold steps as we compete aggressively in today’s dynamic marketplace. We like being the challengers associated with Globalization in industry and will blaze an exciting path to reshape management consulting in this space, especially towards supporting the SME/SMB segment.”

Herbert has built deep client relationships in his previous consulting roles, and has served in several leadership positions throughout his career, including leading his previous firm’s Russia unit, and in his positions as partner, advisor, and member of their global leadership team.

Herbert is co-author of numerous articles and papers on strategic business issues for companies wishing to engage in the Russian market.

Herbert began his career at Accenture in Germany, before working for the firm in London, England. He subsequently worked for strategy consulting firm Delta Strategy Partner, becoming Managing Director of their Moscow Office.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Heidelberg University in Germany. Herbert is fluent in German, English and Russian.
