Chief Executive Officer (EMEA)
Berlin, Germany
Herbert serves MPK International in the dual role of the firm’s Chief Executive Officer (EMEA), as well as the Market Lead taking direct responsibility for overall MPKi Group business in the CIS countries and guiding us through MPKi overall strategic growth plan in that region.
His background in corporate strategy, management consulting, and in-depth knowledge of establishing business relationships on behalf of clients in CIS and its bordering countries provides MPKi and its clients invaluable expertise in the region.
“MPKi are a relatively new and dynamic company, challenging what we perceive as the ‘norm’ in both perception and the advice being dished out by large consulting firms to all companies regardless of their size. We believe one size does NOT fit all, especially in terms of cookie-cutter solutions for our clients.”
“We have a great global team, very-strong partnerships, and our confidence is high. We will be developing great talent from all sources worldwide and our individual leadership team’s global network is deep and supportive,” Herbert notes.”
Herbert has built deep client relationships in his previous consulting roles and has served in several leadership positions throughout his career, including leading his previous firm’s Russia unit, and in his positions as partner, advisor, and member of their global leadership team.
Herbert is co-author of numerous articles and papers on strategic business issues for companies wishing to engage in the CIS market.
Herbert began his career at Accenture in Germany, before working for the firm in London, England. He subsequently worked for strategy consulting firm Delta Strategy Partners, becoming Managing Director of their Moscow Office.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Heidelberg University in Germany.
